MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all, welcome to the review and here is our non spoiler review of the film (MOWGLI). The SI of that area. What kind of threat They face from him is something you should watch in the movie. That is, there are some exciting plot points and scenes, but the biggest drawback of this movie is the inability to build a proper emotional connection. Even though the setups given to the characters are good, as an audience, I couldn't root for either the hero or the heroine throughout the film. That is, because they are the hero and heroine, and because they are fighting a bad person, I was rooting for them to win by default, but I didn't connect with their struggle. The love story was also uninteresting, so I didn't connect much with their love either. The first half went by like that. But once the plot point linking to Bandi Saroj was introduced near the interval, the movie became a little better. Because Bandi Saroj's character is interesting. So whenever there was a scene involving him, it was engaging. He also gave strong support to the movie with his performance. But at the end of the day, it's not his story; this is Mowgli's story, and unfortunately, Mowgli's narrative is disappointing. Right at the beginning of the movie, they give a clear-cut idea of what kind of person Bandi Saroj's character is. That scene is also good. That is, with just one scene, director Sandeep conveys everything that needs to be conveyed. Later in the movie, they introduce other characters – our hero and heroine, their friends' characters, and some other important characters in the village. I told you that I didn't connect with the hero and heroine's love story, right? The main reason for that is the flow of this movie.
2) There's a certain urgency in the proceedings; the characters don't have enough moments to themselves. Even the moments they do have seem to have been filmed with the intention of wrapping them up very quickly. This film and its characters needed a more relaxed approach. Because there's a point in the movie where the hero is very affectionate with everyone. But the villagers never feel like he's one of their own. There are points like these from which good drama could have been extracted. But they aren't established properly. So, wherever the emotion should click in the movie, it doesn't happen correctly. Even Viva Harsha's character has a very important link to the core theme of the movie and his character. But sadly, it creates no impact. For the better part of the movie, the moments given to Bandi Saroj's character and his characteristics work well. His character has an evil madness to it, which they used well to make the fight between him and the hero interesting. But it only helps to a certain extent. The action scenes mostly went by as expected. Nothing creative, but one or two elevation shots do appear. In the last fight, when it comes to the actors, Roshan did fine in his role. Vaibhav Harsh is very good; there are not only some jokes in between, but also some aspects that you wouldn't expect from him in the film, and he pulled them off well. As for Bandi Saroj, as mentioned earlier, he supported this movie greatly. It's a role with good scope, and he portrayed it perfectly. In fact, people will wait to see his next projects on the big screen.
3) His screen presence is that good. The heroine Sakshi and the other supporting actors also did okay in their parts. Technically speaking, the music by Kaala Bhairava is a mixed bag. In some places, the background score is good. In some places, it felt unnecessarily loud. More than just saying it's loud, in some places, it didn't serve its purpose by being loud. Cinematography and production design are decent. Shooting the movie in real locations helped a lot. But despite putting in so much effort to go there and shoot, they could have used the geography of the place to enhance the mood even better. This is where the director's job comes into play. Actually, Sandeep Raj's works are usually good. Even the recently released 'Air' had emotions that worked well. This director is someone who writes down the setups and payoffs with great clarity on paper. In fact, that's why there's so much respect for him. You take his characters home with you, but in this movie, when it came to the execution of those payoffs, I felt the impact was diminished. Now, the tributes given to Jayakrishna are good. When he says he doesn't even have a color photo of himself, the tribute the heroine gives him is impactful. I'm not saying that's missing in this film, but when I saw it on screen, it didn't hit me the same way this time, in terms of rooting for and owning the characters' pain.
