MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all welcome to the and here is the non spoiler review of the film (Kantha). Before telling how I felt after watching the movieI will tell you the biggest positives Bhagyashree Borse's beautiful performance and Dulquer Salmaan's performance in some scenes is visible. And Rana, who comes in the second half, also has a certain advantage but how I felt about the movie, I came out with okay feelings. That is, the performances are good, but you may have a doubt as to why the movie was not so super. Because I felt that the screenplay was not supported that much. The situations are good. And the drama unfolds, the better it works, the stronger the movie will work. But here, there are issues in the movie. Let me tell you the story first. In the trailer, Dulquer Salmaan is a student of Samuthirakani but says that he will act in a Samuthirakani movie again after he becomes a big star. And he thinks that let's release Kantha movie with his climax. And the heroine is in the middle of them. Now the story is how their ego war went forward and whether Kantha was released or not. The first half is all about the filming of Kantha movie. But the second half turns into a crime thriller. The first half actually introduces the characters and the world. The movie is not linear but non-linear. And the dynamics between the characters are slowly revealed.
2) And in the proceedings, even if there is an info reveal, we don't get many major events, but there are moments where the characters shine. The interval is shocking, I didn't expect it, but I think the second half will change to thriller mode, which will be set for the interval. And this second half will be taken over by Rana. And here the thriller mode also changes to story mode at some point. And whatever happens, there will be an after-meat, which I felt should have been handled properly. And there are some dips here and there in the second half. But the performances are beautiful. I don't know whether Bhagyashree has played any roles or whether people will remember them, but this role will be remembered. Beautiful performance, it seems that her career will change from here. She has proven that she can act. And she should do more good roles like this. Next coming to Dulquer, he gave his best. We have a respect for Dulquer. If you ask what Dulquer is giving to art, you can show him his filmography. And when you see some scenes in this movie, you say wow. Suddenly, you snap. The applause falls. Now, if it is just one scene, but since then, every time the challenge comes, he shines, there is an act in the climax, that's all. And Samudra Kani did well, Rana Dobbati, his presence helped a lot. And the technicality of this movie is good. The visuals are too good, the set design is also good. But the whole movie takes place in the same place.
3) It would have been better if these outdoor portions had also been brought to a similar level of quality. Because the quality there is okay. Coming to writer-director Selvamani Selvaraj's idea and emotional performances, they brought the best of them. But there are issues in the screenplay. It felt like the emotion coming from the character arcs on paper could not be brought to the screen. This was also due to the screenplay. That is, we applauded Dulquer for his good performance. We appreciated Bhagyashree for her good performance. But he did not express enough emotion for these characters. You know, usually, when this box gets ticked in Dulquer's movies. Lucky Bhaskar or Mahanati or Seetharam but this movie is not like that, that is why the impact has decreased. And even in this investigation mode, even if you know about the characters, nothing changes. There is no feeling that this could have been a twist at the interval. But why should have been presented properly. But still, if you like the trailer and want to see good performances, try Kantha's movie. So that's the review.
