MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all, welcome to the review and here is our non spoiler review of the film (IDLY KOTTU). Starring Dhanush and Nithya Menon in The Lead Rules. Murali, who is in a top hotel manager position in a foreign country, comes to India after his father's death. After coming here, his father wants to take care of him. This movie is about the conflicts and drama that happen in this process. After watching the movie, I have to say that I don't like it. Murali establishes his life right at the start of the movie. After the memories of his father as a child, Murali goes to the city for his career and gets married to his boss's daughter. In fact, Karthik's story line in this city reminds me of what happened. The materialistic bosses treat the hero like a fool, but they treat him like a normal person. There are still a few days left for the wedding, which means Murali's father will die. So he returns to India and thinks to continue the father's legacy of Idli Kottu. He keeps having some problems from here. Basically, the story line is very simple, the story line is very basic. When the story line is a week, the scenes should be good. The characters should be good. They should be presented in a new way. But here, none of that is there. Like an idli flour, the same scenes, the same dialogues keep repeating. Let's take the hero's character. Actually, he is not his own person, on one side, his parents' ideology, on the other side, his father's ideology, on the other side, anti-NRI sentiment, on the other side, there are nostalgia moments. There is no real person.
2) Not only the hero, but every character in this movie doesn't seem like a real human being. Everyone is like a stereotype that walks like a cardboard. The stereotype is evil rich father, evil brother, evil sister. The characters don't seem real anywhere. If the characters don't connect to the story in this genre, the movie will be dead. The story line is short, so there are a lot of filler scenes. Literally every scene is like preaching. Even if Murali is their father, Murali is extremely good. There is not a single flaw. What range does this go to? It seems fake. When it comes to the overall performance, Dhanush did his best. He is a strong zone. He did such characters so easily. But the rest of them had no scope to perform. It seemed that they were just putting in some combination. They were not given a big role. Arun Vijay's character was a villain role but very routine. Sathyaraj's character was also given a routine. So there was nothing big to do. This movie might have had potential or something, but if it was 2A/2 hours, it definitely felt unnecessary. They just grab small ideas and stretch them.
3) They also present them very boringly. Which doesn't seem interesting. Very boring and very outdated first half at least the story goes like this it seems. The entire second half is just filler scenes. I don't care about single character in this film. Technically this film is not so great, it means that it was made on a budget. Everything is basic Music by Jeevi Prakash is forgettable Editing by Prasanna is not great I don't even understand how the story will go next After a point Especially in the second half Needed better editing. This movie is written and directed by Dhanush, this is Dhanush's weakest work, previous Dhanush movies It seemed a bit of an effort. In this, there is actually zero efforts, every scene is melodramatic. They try to bring some heavy emotion in every scene. Every scene is too much. After a point, it feels exhausting. The conflicts are also very simple. They build something, but then they take the reverse ideology and create a conflict. They give an ideology to a character, but the same character becomes the reverse. This happens many times in the movie. Why these characters are like this and why they are doing that does not seem natural anywhere. Anyways Finally speaking Idli Kottu is an out dated film with a weak story line and boring presentation. Nothing worked for me. So that's for the review guys. We will come back with more videos. Till then keep watching Telugu
