MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all, welcome to the review and here is our non spoiler review of the film (DUDE). Who is Return and directed by Keertheeswaran First of all after watching the movie my opinion is that it is decent for the most part it is good the movie hero Pradeep Ranganathan's acting is like he commands the spotlight that is a charm neither style nor mannerisms it is a bonafide star performance but heroine Mamita also did a fine job music and sound tracks also have a good soulful feel writing and editing seemed uneven in some places. So I didn't come out of the theater with a complete feeling but I would definitely suggest you to watch it. For All the Good Things is an engaging 2 and a half hour movie with some sweet moments and a noisy vibe. The plot line of the movie is not mentioned anywhere in the teasers or trailers, so I won't say much. But to give you context, there is that last bit in the trailer where Devdas sir says, "Why are you doing all this to me?" and you have captured that feeling. That is the emotion. This movie takes some time to set the characters and their tone in the initial portions of the movie. But after 15 to 20 minutes, it goes into a good energetic vibe. What is good is that along with that energetic vibe, a good emotional layer also runs in sync. They managed to create a balance in the first half and it worked very well. And in these portions, Pradeep shines a lot. Actually, the biggest plus of the entire movie is the interval.
2) Then, the sequence is a pure blast. The high that comes when the balance of fun and emotional layers is perfectly synced is captured very well. Debutant and director Keertheeswaran, good job here. But what is cool in the second half is that the way the story has progressed till then, the drama and emotional payoff in the ending has been strong, but the movie shines and the movie has faltered a bit in that aspect. That is, going on in the second half, the fun portion is reduced and the emotional weight is tried to be given. But the writer has taken easier routes to bring that emotional weight, so in It Kind of Feels, he seems to have stuck in a stalemate while portraying our hero as a selfless lover. That is, at a crucial point in the second half, the drama starts between the hero and the heroine. Whatever the point at which that drama starts, it is a stalemate situation. Even if you think about it while watching a movie, it is very difficult to say what the solution is. So the same thing starts to be reflected in the movie. Of course, everything that happens on the screen is engaging, but it hits us like an emotional jolt. So the movie is okay, even though it seems to be good, there is an incomplete feel. When it comes to the actors, Pradeep Ranganathan is a wonderful actor who grabs your attention with every gesture. It's like he doesn't let you deviate from the story and as mentioned before, he gives a bonified star performance. Mamita also did very well in this movie.
3) Sarath Kumar also did very well in supporting roles. His character has interesting shades. They are dealt with a bit here and there, but he delivers a good performance. The casting of all the other actors is also on point. Technically speaking, Sai Banker has a solid debut songs, background score, everything is very good. He elevates the feel of the movie well. Nikith Bami's cinematography is good. So is the styling and costume work too but editing could have been better it was undone through out the film a proper rhythm lacking facing few scenes cut sharper than needed where as few scenes stay longer than needed coming to writer director Keerthyswaran its a good debut as a director got the best out of every actor. Overall the way he visualized the film is also good. As a writer his work felt a mix it back do sweet funny moments well created but he falters a bit in the second half near the emotional beats. If there was an ending with more emotional depth it would have been on a different level but he managed to make a film that is entertaining in many parts. So final word is David is a partly entertaining film with fantastic acting by Pradeep Ranganathan and soulful music you can definitely give it a try so that's it for the review guys. Signing of Team
