MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all, welcome to the review and here is our non spoiler review of the film (Durandar). starring Ranveer Singh, Akshay, Sanjay Dutt and Madhavan in lead roles. This movie is directed by Aditya Dha. This story is based on the gangs that took place in an area called Lyari in Karaja City. This is a real story. The story is very interesting. What if angle is added to this and it is a horror. After watching the movie, I liked the movie. Now let's go to the in-depth review. Also, there is a bit more violence and brutality in this movie. So keep that in mind. This has already been shown in the trailers, but terror attacks are constantly happening in our India. To stop this, the then Intelligence Chief comes up with a plan. The plan to infiltrate the Pakistani underworld has already started. If Karachi city is brought under control, Pakistan can be brought under control. But to control it, the entire Lari area must be controlled. There are two main gangs in this area. One is Arshad's Pappu gang and the other is Akshay Khanna's character Rahmad Dacoit gang. Bro, bro, do you think we are telling the whole story? No, it is not. This is already in the trailers, but if you want to understand that world, you need to remember all this once again. The character Hamza is the same character played by our Ranveer Singh now how did he go into the dacoit gang and become an infiltrator how did he actually go into the underworld to terrorism and how did the equation between politics and the underworld become such a complex equation and how did Hamza become an assassin? The story is about how everything I have told you so far is nothing very basic stuff and there is a lot more hidden inside.
This movie is written and directed by Aditya Dhari. He previously made the movie Uri Surgical Strike. If you watch that movie, you will understand that action can be done well, but if you watch Durandar, you will know that world building can be done equally well. This world building is one of the major strengths of Durandari. There are many layers in this. This is a very complex world. Each gang has its own ideology. They come from different cultures. Even if they are of the same religion, there are differences. Culture, subcultures, all these. Apart from this, the dynamics between gangs and politicians are different. This is the second layer, then the third layer, and even though they have so much conflict among themselves, the common enemy India, the ISI, comes and uses them and attacks them. This is another dynamic. This is the third layer. In such a world of multiple layers, how does an Indian agent react if he infiltrates? Here, Ranveer Singh plays a role. We don't know the original name of his character until the end. He comes with the name Hamza. We don't know his flashback. But small flashback cuts are playing. We only know that some big traumatic event happened in his past. But what happened is hidden for the sake of the party. On one hand, there is love for India. But he has to be with the enemies. He has to manipulate and trap them for his needs. To defeat the enemies, he has to become like them. This is a character with so many layers. Ranveer has done every aspect correctly.There is a scene in the second half. Everyone is watching a situation on TV. On one hand, he has to keep them from getting suspicious, and on the other hand, he has his personal trigger.
Again, he is angry and bitter. Ranveer perfectly shows multiple emotions, even though this movie is so long, we are sitting there for a long time because of his performance. Other performances in this movie are also good. Akshay played the role of Aurangzeb very well in Is On Roll Recently Chava. Rehman also played the role of a dacoit in this. The character starts from a week pond. However, we feel a threat from that character. That performance is so intense. Sanjay Dutt's role is also a bit crazy. Along with the police character, Arjun Ramapal also did well in the role of an ISI major. The supporting cast is also good in this. As for Madhavan, Ajit Doval played an inspired character. Master Man type of role, this is a good role, the performance is also good. Usually, supporting roles are sidelined, but not in this movie, everyone has importance. There was a controversy before the movie release. Sara Arjun's age is very less, Ranveer's age is more, so they catch it inappropriately, but it is correct casting, if you watch the movie, you will know the reason. Proper reasoning is given. Whatever the strength of this movie, the weakness is also the same, they take a lot of time for world building. This movie is 3 1/2 hours long. So at one point we feel that the length is. First of all, the whole world building is more. It's not that it's not engaging, it's engaging, but it's not boring, but there's a chance that it feels like too much information. The writing in this movie is mostly work. And there's a lot of violence and protality. The actual introduction of the character of Hamza is in a high dose. Some of the killings are very brutal.
