MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all, welcome to the review and here is our non spoiler review of the film (Akhanda 2). If I have to give my opinion after watching the movie, the hype that was generated for Akhanda was surpassed by Akhanda 2, aka Akhanda Thandavam. I've been shouting so much that my voice is completely gone. If you ask if the story is heavy, then no. But then you might ask, how did Boyapati keep us glued to our seats without a strong story? That's what Boya's mass appeal is all about. The doubt everyone had was that the Akhanda character was already overpowered. Akhanda is a god-like character; Akhanda beats everyone up. So, how would the audience be interested? How would they excite us? While we were having these doubts, Boyapati gives us an assurance, saying, "You just sit back, I will show you Balayya Babu's cosmic form." He showcased all his directorial talent in this film. And obviously, when we think of a Boyapati movie, a template comes to mind. That template is present in this film too, but he brings in novelty. He changed the structure. He knows exactly what the audience wants from Akhanda, which is why he hides Akhanda throughout the first half. He sets up the entire story. He serves all the side dishes that the audience wants. And once Akhanda lands, he starts serving the main course. The screenplay doesn't stop until the movie ends; it keeps running at full speed. The biggest challenge for Boyapati the entire theme and concept of the movie is about characters questioning Akhanda, asking "Where is God? Where is your Shiva?" when they face difficulties. Boyapati made the film without deviating from this theme. The conflict arises from this, and the elevations also stem from this. Now let's get back to the review. The climax fight is pure madness. Boyapati's sole intention was not just to surpass Akhanda, but to elevate Akhanda by 10, 20, 30, 100 times, as much as possible. He tried to take
1)Akhanda to the maximum level. And in that aspect, he succeeded. This film has another hero, our Thaman anna. At the pre-release event, he said that he composed the BGM like a priest. I thought it was an exaggeration then, but after watching the movie and listening to his BGM, I understood that he said it very humbly and normally. Thaman anna's BGM elevates the elevation itself. The BGM is of that caliber; he completely transported us into a trance. And do I even need to talk about Balayya Babu specifically? On one hand, Boyapati decides to present him in 100X style. On the other hand, Thaman anna elevates it even further. Balayya not only delivered on their expectations but surpassed them. From the beginning of the film, they keep saying "Shiva, Shiva," but it's not about the fights or the elevations; they won at the Shiva scene in the pre-climax. He handled the emotion in that scene properly. Sanatana Dharma is the theme of the movie. Boyapati presented it unapologetically. If you ask me, he designed some crazy stuff and high moments in this film to end the year on a high note. As for the negatives, the CGI isn't that good. The ghosts and other CGI elements involving Aadhi Pinisetty weren't of good quality; it felt like they should have done better. Also, the first half felt a bit like filler. There's a lot of story in it, and until the interval block, the story remains in setup mode. Even so, Boyapati and Balayya hold our attention.
3)Now, some people will say things like, "What's with the hero flying in the air when he gets hit? What's with him spinning around in the air? They've missed the logic," and so on. But hey, there are superpowers, and still, you know what to expect from this movie. Boyapati Garu has delivered even crazier stuff than expected. In this movie, Balayya Babu's dialogues are delivered with rapid-fire precision. That's how powerful the punches are, and of course, there will be some controversial ones too. Apart from Balayya, Thaman, and Boyapati, if you ask about anything else, the actress performed decently. The payoff with the mother's character was good. Adi Pinisetty's villain moments are even better. But he is only one of the villains; obviously, Akhanda will be overpowered, but still, the movie holds your attention. For some of the punch dialogues, the screams in the theater are deafening. Dialogues, sound effects, and scenes like these are only possible for our Boyapati Garu. If you liked the first Akhanda movie, don't think too much, because this can be called Akhanda Max rather than Akhanda 2. Balayya Babu has given two hits this year; one at the beginning and another at the end. The streak with Boyapati continues; they have delivered four consecutive hit films. Here, Tamannaah's last five movies have been a hit streak, and let's hope that continues. They are all in good form. Whatever it is, Boyapati Garu has given a great tribute to Balayya Babu, hasn't he? So that's it for the review, guys.
