MOVIE REVIEW :-Hello all and welcome to the review and here is the review of the film 12 years (Railway Colony). After watching the movie, I have to say that I don't like it. I think the makers must have felt that they gave some crazy twists. But not a single twist was a surprise. The first half felt like a filler. The main story starts in the second half. If you think it would be better, they disappointed you by adding a regular twist in the second half. Let's talk about why we were disappointed in the in-depth review. Coming to the story, the hero lives in Railway Colony. He loves a girl named Aaradhana. What did he do for her when she needed help? What is the murder mystery that comes in the middle? How did he solve that mystery? The plot is interesting, but the execution is regular. In the first half, a lot of time is given to character intros and songs. Actually, the theme is given in the opening scene of the movie. But later the proceedings are regular. Okay, all this filler is considered a lead for the later portions and brings interest, and they do the same in Choosa Polymer, but there is not that much solid detailing in this. Even the interval twist is understandable before. Even if you don't understand it, it should be good after the fact. The second half changes into a thriller mode. The scenes should be engaging here, but it seemed necessary to hold the next twist or point for so long. Initially, a scene is shown. Another thread is added to it. It is revealed later.
2)The same is used in Polymer as well, but it works there. That structure did not work here. The point of the reveal should be surprising, right? If you open the same point three times and change the person, the twist will not be complete, and the emotion will not work in this movie either. Reasons were given for that love story, but it seemed like very basic level lying. I felt that the movie was over before the climax. But they extend it again saying that there is something more. But that too will be brought back with a type of plot point that happened before. It ended under whelming. They keep revealing all the details in the post credits. They don't change the opinion on the movie. The plot is not that engaging but it would have been better if the paper cuttings that are in reality had been put in. The performances are also okay, one love song is good. There are inconsistencies here and there in the music of Beams. The editing seemed abrupt at times. The visuals helped a little. This movie was written by Anil Viswanath and directed by Nani Kasaragadda. The writing style is not that solid. And the direction choices should have enhanced the movie. Some of the edit table choices were also not set. In the second half, there are intercuts between two scenes. These intercuts are abrupt. They think that by opening multiple perspectives on a single event, they can make the narrative interesting.
3) Again, this came from the screenplay. It is not engaging if it is open in two lines. Otherwise, the choice taken now also did not work. In the ending, they simply talk to Saikumar in the police station scene. Statements are taken and dragged out in cases. Police investigation cannot be completed in a meeting, so how can a villain who has personal losses be investigated by not only the hero but also the police? Again, with the same police character, it is not possible to elevate it by saying that Karthik did everything. A police officer who does a very basic level investigation will study any case deeply. Again, a negative dialogue was given to Saikumar. To give the feeling that he has analysed it very deeply, the hero investigates something new, which is not even an investigation. When the gun is left on the table, it becomes clear. They left it so evident that there is nothing in it that many portions of the movie twist cannot be guessed. What is meant by something new is what it is, but sadly all the movie twists are regular. It felt underwhelming. Let's see how Polymedia will be, so that's it for the review. We will come to you with more reviews like this. Keep watching the review.
